Together with people around the world, China honored this great day, paving the way for a brighter future.
Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou organized all the monastic Sangha to watch the live broadcast together, bearing witness to a momentous occasion that remembers history, venerates the heroes, cherishes peace, and forges ahead into the future.
Many expressed that peace is hard won and must be cherished even more. As members of the religious community, we should inherit and carry forward Buddhism’s patriotic and devotional traditions, adhere to the sinicization of religion in China, and contribute greater strength to the comprehensive advancement of national power and the rejuvenation of the nation through Chinese-style modernization.
