On the afternoon of September 26, 2025, the Zhejiang Buddhist Sutra Lecture Exchange concluded at Jiezhu Temple in Shaoxing. Venerable Guangquan, president of the Zhejiang Buddhist Association, and other attendees participated in the closing ceremony.

In his closing remarks, Venerable Guangquan noted that this sutra lecture exchange not only provided a platform for many young Buddhist masters to exchange ideas and showcase their talents, but also helped cultivate more high-quality monastic talents for the sustained and healthy development of Buddhism in Zhejiang. The sutra lecturers were dignified and eloquent, offering explanations of Buddhist classical teachings that are both rigorous and accessible. By tying the selected scriptures to the trend of the times and to real life, their interpretations met progressive standards, providing valuable experience and demonstrations for better promoting excellent traditional culture and guiding correct faith and practice. This fully demonstrated the commendable spiritual demeanor of the new generation of young monks in Zhejiang.
During the exchange, 18 sutra lecturers drew on diverse sources, delivering witty and articulate talks that blended tradition with the modern times. They explained the sutras and teachings in a way that was thorough yet easy to understand. In the end, two First Prizes, four Second Prizes, and six Third Prizes were awarded to excellent participants. Master Zezheng and Master Chengrui won the First Prizes; Master Dingping, Master Guorui, Master Zhengde, and Master Zhidao won the Second Prizes; Master Weiren, Master Changyi, Master Juehang, Master Mingchu, Master Miaoxian, and Master Shangru won the Third Prizes; Master Jicheng, Master Hongzhe, Master Yuanyi, Master Daomiao, Master Tongxing, and Master Shuangyi received Encouragement Prizes.
