On January 26, the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month in the Yisi Year, a day marking the Enlightenment Anniversary of Shakyamuni Buddha, Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou held the Laba Festival Offering and Blessing Dharma Ceremony in accordance with Buddhist traditions, praying for favorable weather, national peace and people’s wellbeing, the eternal prosperity of Buddhism, and the long perpetuation of the True Dharma.
