On March 27, 2018, a theme activity “Gathering strength for a cohesive community in Hangzhou” and the unveiling ceremony for the United Community Services Center were simultaneously held at Meicheng Town of Jiande City. The secretary of the CPC Jiande Municipal Committee Mr. Tong Dinggan and the head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Jiande Municipal Committee Ms. Tong Guili attended and addressed the ceremony.
The chairperson of Yunlin Charitable Foundation(YLCF) Master Changfa presented a donation of 240,000 RMB to the Meicheng Education Fund on behalf on the foundation to collaborate in the education of 24 underprivileged students. Master Changfa encouraged students from impoverished families to build confidence and overcome difficulties best they can and demonstration their appreciation for those who offered help to them by studying hard and making achievements.
Since its establishment, Yunlin Charitable Foundation has been actively engaging in offering disaster reliefs, setting up education funds to schools and students, providing social care to people in need and other charitable activities. The education funds that the foundation has set up in colleges and universities across the country, such as Yunlin Education Fund and Shangde Scholarship, have helped a number of students and teaching faculties with their studies and research, making positive contributions to the inheritance and innovation of traditional culture.
