The 5th Chinese Filial Piety Cultural Forum Held at Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou

On August 17, 2019, the 5th Chinese Filial Piety Cultural Forum was held at Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou. It is part of the 2019 Chinese Filial Piety Cultural Festival. People from all walks of life gathered together at the Zhizhi Hall of Lingyin Temple to share their thoughts on the filial piety culture and offer suggestions to further promote filial piety.

At the interview section, the Deputy Chief of China News Service (Zhejiang) Mr. Yan Ge, Professor Gao Baiyuan from the Department of Chinese Literature of Tamkang University in Taiwan, renowned artist Mr. He Shuifa and the Deputy Dean of Hangzhou Buddhist Academy Master Huiguan shared their thoughts on “the inheritance of filial piety in the new age”, gave a new explanation of “the filial piety culture” and further expanded its depth and breadth.
