From September 4 to 6, 2024, volunteers from Hangzhou Yunlin Charitable Foundation visited residential communities, nursing homes, welfare institutions, and construction sites, bringing with them the meticulously crafted vegetarian mooncakes from Lingyin Temple. As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, they extended festive blessings to the elderly, children, and frontline construction workers in Hangzhou.
In recent days, the love ambassadors from Hangzhou Yunlin Charitable Foundation have been running around the city under the scorching sun, visiting various places including the Shangtianzhu Care Home, the Zhongda Langyi Beijingyuan Elderly Service Center, Xiangfu Street in Gongshu District, the Home for Persons with Disabilities in Chaohui Street of Gongshu District, the Home for Persons with Disabilities in West Lake Street, the Carnation Children’s Development Center in Linping District, Hangzhou Wanwan Care Center, the construction site of Metro Line 12, and the Yunlin Fuyuan Nursing Home project site. They also reached out to families of students in need from the community of Jiande, delivering over a thousand boxes of handmade vegetarian mooncakes from Lingyin.
The sweet mooncakes carry compassion and care, embodying the blessings of Hangzhou Yunlin Charitable Foundation. As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, they wish for the elderly to have their wishes fulfilled and enjoy health and longevity; for children to aspire high and strive for excellence; and for the construction workers on the frontlines to have a happy Mid-Autumn Festival and for their families to be safe and healthy!
