On January 11, the 2025 New Year gathering of the Yunlin Volunteers at Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou was successfully held. The theme of this gathering was "The Smile of the Bodhisattva." The Lingyin Sangha and lay practitioners from the Yunlin Volunteers gathered joyfully to review the achievements of the past year and to collectively wish for auspiciousness and health in the new year!
In the past year, the Yunlin Volunteers has made significant progress. The team has expanded in size, the management system has become more standardized and efficient, joint activities have been carried out in an orderly manner, and the quality of services has significantly improved. Everyone has worked together with dedication, providing a solid foundation for the various activities of the temple.
The year 2025 marks the 13th anniversary of the Yunlin Volunteers. The Abbot of Lingyin Temple Venerable Master Guangquan hopes that all volunteer Bodhisattvas will continue to diligently cultivate themselves and benefit others, practice compassion, serve the public with joy, and make contributions to society with gratitude. They shall be always accompanied by smiles and filled with the joy of Dharma!
During the annual gathering, each performing group of the Yunlin Volunteers presented carefully prepared performances, expressing their respect for the Three Jewels, gratitude for the Lingyin Sangha, and blessings for all sentient beings through their talents and enthusiasm.
