Dubbed"Buddhist Nation of the South East," Hangzhou Buddhism has experienced prolific development with the consistent support at all levels, whether political, educational, or from the community. With many graduates from the Buddhist Academy of China serving as the core custodians of Hangzhou temples, they are also setting examples to encourage future graduates from the Buddhist Academy of China to consider taking part in the Buddhism hub of Hangzhou, to further contribute and develop the Buddhist culture upon finishing their work at the Buddhist Academy of China.
