Yunlin Charitable Foundation Donates to Help Primary School Students in Xinjiang

On September 8, 2015, Master Changfa and three other Buddhist masters of Hangzhou Lingyin Temple travelled a long journey to Nuo Qi Ku Mu Primary School located in westernmost China – Shache County, Kashgar, Xinjiang Urgur Autonomous Region. Master Changfa, on behalf of Hangzhou Yunlin Charitable Foundation, signed an agreement with the local government official in charge on education assistance of one million RMB to impoverished students in the area. The liaison Zhang Ajun said that the money would be spent on helping impoverished students, repairing and renovating schoolhouses, purchasing school uniforms and sports equipment, etc. The donation shall make improvements to the condition of the school. The trustee of Hangzhou Yunlin Charitable Foundation Master Changfa said that the donation aims to strengthen contact with the local area and to be the first of many other donations to the area. He hoped that more and more people would be devoted to charity and help those in need in Xinjiang so that peace and love would shine through our world..
